Mr. Albert Tufts was a driving force in North Carolina Skeet practically from the very beginning of the game. His family built a skeet facility at the Pinehurst Gun Club in the mid 1930’s. After the second word war Mr. Tufts was one of the people who formed the North Carolina Skeet Shooting Association and he served as the secretary and treasurer for many years. His work as manager of the Pinehurst Gun Club helped establish it as one of the premier clubs in the country. The skeet fraternity is indebted to Albert Tufts for his many contributions to our great game.
